Since 1993, MTHS Foundation has awarded more than 325 grants totaling over $267,000 to District 207 teachers and students. The Foundation supports educational activities, scholarships, and student health, including:
Grants for curriculum development and other innovative learning experiences in the following areas:
Fine and Performing Arts
Civic Education
Writing and Communication
Technology in the Curriculum
STEM and STEAM experiences
School Culture and Student Services
District-wide programs benefitting all Maine Township High School students:
Peer Tutoring Programs including $1500 scholarships awarded to selected graduating senior peer tutors.
District 207 COVID-19 Emergency Fund for D207 students and staff dealing with food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The KIND207 Fund allows schools to identify and provide students in need of assistance in real time rather than setting up individual events to raise funds. The Maine Township High School Foundation has already donated $5,000 to the KIND207 Fund.
