Congratulations to all our 2022-2023 Honorees:

Business Pathfinder Award:

This year’s winner of Maine Township High School Foundation’s Business Pathfinder award is Premier, Inc.
Since their partnership started in 2019, Premier has provided Maine Township High School District 207 students with a multitude of experiences, including guest speakers and job shadows.

Educator Pathfinder Awards:
Maine East’s Michelle Meyer, Maine South’s Chris Joyce, and Maine West’s Emma Van Jacobs -
Their work organizing the trip to Illinois State University’s Future Teacher Conference and creating the Education Career Pathway were specifically recognized. The pathway provides students with dual credit opportunities, observation experiences at local elementary and middle schools like with District 63, a preschool program, and a wide variety of other career opportunities.

Media Career Day:
Maine West teacher Rebecca Orr:
Ms. Orr built Media Career Day, which featured a career panel with media professionals from Marquee Sports Network, iHeart Radio, and podcast company Pipeline. After the panel, the students went on a career trek to downtown Chicago sound studio Noise Floor.
“Media Career Day definitely taught me that it is possible to go into film,” says Maine West senior Abby Wilson. “Actually seeing it was like this could actually happen. I can do this."
