Celebrating Maine Township Distinguished Alumni
At premier institutions of education, recognizing outstanding alumni celebrates the accomplishments and service of graduates who represent their alma mater with distinction. MTHS Foundation proudly supports the alumni recognition programs at all three high schools by serving on selection committees, providing award plaques, and sponsoring honoree dinners. Maine South High School Wall of Honor
Maine South High School and the Wall of Honor Selection Committee recognizes graduates for their outstanding contributions to society through significant accomplishments and/or community service. Our Wall of Honor serves the dual purpose of recognizing such accomplishments and presenting our Distinguished Alumni as role models for current students at Maine South High School. To qualify for recognition, the nominee must have graduated from Maine South High School and be at least 35 years old. His or her achievements must go beyond personal benefit, and contribute in a significant way to community and society on a local, state, national, or global basis. Sponsored in conjunction with Maine West High School and the Maine West Alumni Association, the Maine West High School Distinguished Alumni Award honors alumni who are noted in their field of endeavor and/or recognized for their expertise and good works by their peers. These Distinguished Alumni are people who exemplify the tradition of excellence fostered at Maine West High School. To be nominated, alumni must have distinguished themselves through achievement, service, and/or contributions to society, and they must have graduated from or been enrolled at Maine West at least 10 years ago.
